Arrival at Ranthambore & Resort Check-in

Sawai Madhopur is the main gateway to Ranthambore National Park, which is approximately 14 km from the town.

Morning / Afternoon

• Arrive at Sawai Madhopur railway station or reach by private vehicle
• Meet your driver and transfer to the wildlife resort
• Complete check-in and enjoy a welcome drink
• Lunch at the resort, depending on arrival time
• Relax in your room or explore the resort’s nature-friendly surroundings

Evening

• Tea, coffee and snacks
• Guided nature walk if offered by the resort and permitted
• Learn about local wildlife, tiger conservation and jungle safety
• Traditional Rajasthani dinner

Overnight: Luxury wildlife resort in Ranthambore

Note: No national park safari is assumed on Day 1, so the itinerary remains suitable for guests arriving later in the day.

Morning & Afternoon Tiger Safaris

Early morning – Jungle Safari 1

• Wake up early and enjoy tea or coffee
• Transfer to the designated safari boarding point
• Enter Ranthambore National Park in a pre-booked open Gypsy or Canter with the required guide
• Explore the forest, grasslands, rocky hills and water bodies
• Look for Bengal tigers, leopards, sambar deer, spotted deer, langurs, crocodiles and birds

Late morning: Return to the resort, enjoy breakfast and spend some time relaxing.

Afternoon – Jungle Safari 2

• After lunch or an early snack, proceed for your second scheduled safari
• Explore another available safari zone, subject to permit availability
• Observe animal tracks and listen to bird calls
• Enjoy wildlife photography from the designated safari vehicle

Evening: Relax at the resort. Enjoy a campfire only if permitted by the property and local fire-safety rules, followed by dinner.

Wildlife Safari & Ranthambore Fort

Early morning – Jungle Safari 3

• Another morning safari for a further opportunity to observe wildlife
• Explore the forest with a trained guide
• Look for tigers, deer, wild boar and other native species
• Learn about the ecosystem and animal behaviour
• Photograph the forest landscape and birdlife

Late morning: Return to the resort for breakfast and relaxation.

Afternoon – Ranthambore Fort

• Visit Ranthambore Fort, a historic hilltop fort overlooking the surrounding landscape
• Historic fort gateways
• Ancient walls and architectural remains
• Views over the forest and surrounding hills
• Ganesh Temple, subject to access and local conditions
• Photography and heritage exploration

Allow approximately 2–3 hours for the fort visit, depending on walking pace and access.

Evening: Return to the resort for tea, snacks and leisure time, then dinner featuring regional Rajasthani dishes.

• Check out from your accommodation
• Transfer to Sawai Madhopur railway station or continue by road to your next destination
