Welcome to the land of high passes, where rugged mountains meet serene valleys and ancient cultures thrive amid breathtaking landscapes. This journey joins two of India’s most enchanting regions: Kashmir, the “Paradise on Earth” of Dal Lake’s shikaras, houseboats and Mughal Gardens, and Ladakh’s high-altitude deserts, with monasteries clinging to steep cliffs and prayer flags fluttering in the wind.
From Srinagar you travel over Zoji La to Kargil and Leh, cross Khardung La into the sand dunes of Nubra Valley, and finish at the azure waters of Pangong Lake, reflecting the towering peaks around it.
Pickup from the airport, transfer and check-in at your hotel in Srinagar.
In the afternoon, visit the Mughal Gardens: Nishat, Shalimar and Chashme Shahi.
Enjoy a 1-hour shikara ride around Dal Lake and visit a papier-mâché and wood-carving factory.
Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
After a hearty breakfast, transfer to Pahalgam via saffron fields and apple orchards.
Visit Betaab Valley, named after the Bollywood movie “Betaab”, with pony rides and breathtaking views. Explore Aru Valley, surrounded by lush meadows and snow-capped peaks, ideal for nature walks and photography.
Later, visit Chandanwari, the starting point of the Amarnath Yatra pilgrimage, and enjoy the scenic beauty of the region.
In the evening, return to Srinagar for an overnight stay.
Leave Srinagar for Gulmarg after breakfast. En route, visit Drung Waterfall, also known as the Frozen Waterfall.
On reaching Gulmarg, spend the afternoon exploring the picturesque landscapes. You can take the Gulmarg Gondola ride up to Kongdoori and Apharwat peaks for stunning views of the snow-capped Himalayas.
In the evening, return to Srinagar for an overnight stay.
Depart from Srinagar for Sonamarg after breakfast. En route, stop at Gagangir to admire the scenery and capture photographs.
On reaching Sonamarg, explore the Thajiwas Glacier, accessible by a short trek or pony ride. Enjoy activities like sledging, or simply relax amid the pristine natural surroundings.

Depart from Sonamarg for Kargil after an early breakfast.
En route, visit Zoji La Pass, a high mountain pass with breathtaking views of the rugged landscape. Stop at the Drass War Memorial, also known as the Kargil War Memorial, dedicated to the martyrs of the Kargil War.
On reaching Kargil, check in at your hotel and unwind after the journey.
Leave Kargil for Leh after breakfast.
En route, visit the ancient Mulbekh Monastery, known for its rock carvings and statues. Stop at Lamayuru Monastery, one of the oldest and largest monasteries in Ladakh, perched on a hill overlooking the Indus Valley.
On reaching Leh, check in at your hotel and spend the evening exploring the local markets and trying traditional Ladakhi cuisine.
Depart from Leh for Nubra Valley after breakfast.
Cross the mighty Khardung La Pass, at an altitude of over 18,000 feet, and enjoy panoramic views of the Karakoram Range.
Visit Diskit Monastery, the largest and oldest monastery in Nubra Valley, and explore the sand dunes of Hunder. Enjoy a camel safari on double-humped Bactrian camels amid the desert landscape.
Depart from Nubra Valley for Pangong Lake after breakfast. En route, stop at the picturesque villages of Shayok and Durbuk.
On reaching Pangong Lake, marvel at its mesmerising blue waters stretching across the Indo-China border.
Spend the evening relaxing by the lakeshore, admiring the reflection of the surrounding mountains on the crystal-clear water.
Depart from Pangong Lake for Leh after breakfast. On reaching Leh, set out on a sightseeing tour of the city.
Visit Leh Palace, a former royal palace with panoramic views of Leh town and the surrounding mountains. Explore Shanti Stupa, a white-domed Buddhist stupa with views over the Leh Valley.
Spend the evening shopping for souvenirs at Leh Market and exploring the vibrant streets of the town.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Leh Airport for your onward journey.
