After a leisurely breakfast, explore Mysore’s sights — the Maharaja’s Palace, the monolithic Nandi bull, and the Chamundeshwari Temple atop Chamundi Hill. Mythology records that the buffalo-headed demon king Mahishasura lived here and was slain by Goddess Chamundeshwari of Chamundi Hills.
