Arrival Cochin – Cochin Sightseeing

Arrival: Arrive at Cochin International Airport / Ernakulam Railway Station. Meet your driver and proceed to the hotel. After check-in and freshening up, begin your Cochin sightseeing.

• Fort Kochi — historic colonial streets, heritage buildings, local shops and cafés
• Chinese Fishing Nets — famous waterfront landmark and photography opportunity
• St. Francis Church — historic church associated with the Portuguese period
• Mattancherry Palace — traditional Kerala murals and historical collections
• Jew Town — heritage streets, antique shops and local handicrafts

Evening: Enjoy the sunset at Fort Kochi waterfront. Return to the hotel for dinner.

Overnight: Cochin

Cochin – Alleppey (Houseboat)

Morning: Breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed towards Alleppey (Alappuzha). Distance: approximately 55–60 km; travel time around 1.5–2 hours, depending on traffic. Alappuzha is one of Kerala’s principal backwater destinations, known for its waterways, Kuttanad landscape and traditional houseboats.

Afternoon – houseboat experience: Arrive at the houseboat boarding point and board your traditional Kettuvallam houseboat. A typical overnight houseboat package includes lunch, evening snacks, dinner and breakfast. Cruise through the Kerala backwaters with views of:

• Vembanad Lake
• Coconut palms and paddy fields
• Small villages and narrow canals
• Local fishermen
• Traditional Kerala homes

Lunch onboard: Enjoy freshly prepared Kerala-style lunch onboard.

Evening & night: Continue cruising through the peaceful backwaters, with tea and snacks while watching the sunset. The houseboat anchors at an approved location for the night, with dinner onboard.

Alleppey – Kovalam

Morning: Wake up to the beautiful backwater scenery. Enjoy breakfast onboard and continue a short morning cruise. At 9:00 AM, check out from the houseboat and meet your private driver.

Alleppey → Kovalam: Distance: approximately 160 km; travel time around 4–5 hours depending on traffic and road conditions. Stop for lunch at a good Kerala restaurant en route.

Afternoon: Check in at your beach hotel / resort and relax.

Evening – Kovalam Beach

• Visit the famous Lighthouse Beach
• Beach walk and Arabian Sea views
• Lighthouse area
• Local shopping
• Sunset

Kovalam has three adjacent crescent-shaped beaches and is known for swimming, beach leisure, Ayurveda and coastal activities. Return to the hotel for dinner.

Kovalam – Trivandrum Sightseeing – Kovalam

Morning

• Breakfast at the hotel
• Leisure time at Kovalam Beach
• Optional activities: Ayurveda massage, yoga, swimming, beach walk, resort relaxation

Afternoon – Thiruvananthapuram: Proceed to Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala’s capital, and visit:

• Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple — the famous temple; entry is subject to temple rules, dress code and eligibility
• Napier Museum — Kerala’s art, culture and historical collections
• Sri Chitra Art Gallery — traditional Indian paintings and artwork
• Kuthiramalika Palace Museum — the historic palace and Travancore royal heritage

Evening: Return to Kovalam and enjoy the evening at leisure.

Kovalam – Poovar – Kovalam

Morning: Breakfast at the hotel, then proceed to Poovar, a beautiful coastal and backwater destination near Kovalam.

Poovar backwater cruise: Enjoy a boat ride through the backwaters and mangrove-lined waterways. The experience may include:

• Poovar Island
• Mangrove forests and backwaters
• Estuary
• Golden Sand Beach

Afternoon: Lunch at a local restaurant / resort, then return to Kovalam.

Kovalam – Trivandrum Airport – Delhi

Morning: Wake up early for a final walk on Kovalam Beach. Return to the hotel for breakfast and check out.

Transfer to Trivandrum Airport: Kovalam is approximately 10 km from Thiruvananthapuram Airport, making it convenient for the final departure. Proceed to Thiruvananthapuram International Airport.

Flight to Delhi: Board your flight from Trivandrum to Delhi.
