On your arrival at Amritsar International Airport you will be welcomed by your tour escort. You can find him easily as he will be there at the arrival lounge holding a placard of your name. After meet & greet transfer to your pre booked hotel. The rest of the day, if any, is at leisure to settle in, and recuperate from your international journey. Overnight stay in Amritsar.

After breakfast begin your tour with the blessings of Sri Harmandir Sahib, the holiest shrine of the Sikh religion, also known as the Golden Temple. Visit Jallianwala Bagh memorial and then continue to Wagah Border (Indo-Pak border) to witness the flag retreat ceremony. Overnight stay in Amritsar.

After breakfast board a direct flight to Jaipur. On arrival check-in to your hotel. Afternoon explore and enjoy shopping at Jaipur Market. Jaipur is famous for textiles, handmade jewellery, blue pottery and paintings which makes it a must visit shopping destination. Visit Birla Temple before returning to your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.

Early breakfast and then begin your sightseeing at Amber Fort, which was the ancient capital of the state. Ascend the Fort on elephant back or by jeep. Inside this amazing Fort visit Diwan-i Aam, Diwan-i Khas and Sheesh Mahal (Hall of Victory glittering with mirrors).  Afternoon tour of Jaipur – visit Jal Mahal (Water Palace), Maharaja’s City Palace and Jantar Mantar. Drive past Hawa Mahal and through the pink rose residential and business areas. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

After breakfast drive to Agra. On arrival, visit the magnificent Agra Fort. At sunset continue to the extravagant monument Taj Mahal, entitled as one of the Seven Wonders of the World. A must visit to witness the masterpieces of Indian architecture. Overnight stay in Agra.

Early breakfast and depart by road to Lucknow, fondly known as the city of Nawabs. Begin your tour with Chattar Manzil (Umbrella Palace), a former resident palace of the Nawabs. Later, take a short ride through the city and indulge in the famous street food of Lucknow. Don’t leave without sampling the city’s succulent dum pukht cuisine. Overnight stay in Lucknow.

After breakfast, continue your tour of Lucknow with Bara Imambara, a large mosque complex primarily known for its incredible maze. Next visit the Turkish gateway of Rumi Darwaza and the now-ruined British Residency in the capital of Uttar Pradesh, where a besieged British contingent famously held out for five months during the 1857 uprising. Overnight stay in Lucknow.

After breakfast drive to the ancient town, Ayodhya, and explore the major attractions. The Ram Janmbhoomi temple is considered to be the birthplace of Lord Ram, and is hence thronged by devotees. Next visit Hanuman Garhi Mandir. Legend has it that Lord Hanuman lived here in a cave and guarded the Janambhoomi or Ramkot. Devotees believe that all their wishes are granted with a visit to this holy shrine. Overnight stay in Ayodhya.

After breakfast depart by road to Allahabad and begin your city tour. Visit the Triveni Sangam where Ganga, Yamuna and the mythical Saraswati meet followed by tour of Allahabad temples – Mankameshwar Temple, Hanuman Mandir, All Saints Cathedral (Patthar Girjaghar) and Shankar Viman Mandapam. Overnight stay in Allahabad.

Early breakfast, then drive to the holy city of Varanasi. En-route visit the Allahabad Fort, Allahabad Museum and Jawahar Planetarium. On arrival in Varanasi, check-in to your hotel to relax and settle in. In the early evening, start your tour of the Ganges and its many ghats by boat, culminating with the evening ‘aarti’ ceremony. Overnight stay in Varanasi.

Rise early and return to the Ganges this morning for a sunrise boat ride. After breakfast, visit Sarnath (where Buddha preached his first sermon after enlightenment) and the old city – a maze of streets and alleys crammed with derelict palaces, homes, and hundreds of temples and shrines. Overnight stay in Varanasi.

After an early breakfast board a direct flight to Delhi. On arrival visit Bangla Sahib Gurdwara (Sikh Temple) and the Qutub Minar (tallest brick tower in the world). Overnight stay in Delhi.

The morning is at leisure. Your escort and vehicle are at your disposal. Later, depending on the time of your international flight you are assisted with your transfer to the airport for your homebound journey.
