Delhi

On your arrival at Delhi International Airport you will be welcomed by your tour escort. You can find him easily as he will be there at the arrival lounge holding a placard of your name. After meet & greet transfer to your pre booked hotel. The rest of the day, if any, is at leisure to settle in, and recuperate from your international journey. Overnight stay in Delhi.

Early breakfast and begin your city tour of Old Delhi with the Jama Masjid (India’s largest mosque). Take a rickshaw ride and explore the amazing narrow lanes and bazaars, visit Chandni Chowk, stop off at Asia’s biggest Spice market, and drive past the Red Fort. Later visit Raj Ghat, the memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi. Take a drive past India Gate (War Memorial Arch), President’s House, Parliament House, and Government Secretariat Buildings. After lunch visit Bangla Sahib Gurdwara (Sikh Temple) and Mahatma Gandhi Museum. End your day with a visit to the Qutub Minar (tallest brick tower in the world). Overnight stay in Delhi.

After breakfast drive to Agra. On arrival visit the magnificent Agra Fort. Later, at sunset visit the extravagant monument Taj Mahal, entitled as one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Overnight stay in Agra.

After breakfast drive to Jaipur, known as The Pink City. En-route stop to visit Fatehpur Sikri – a Mughal ghost town. The city has palaces built in red sand stone and is a site that shows perfect amalgamation of Indo Islamic architecture and culture. Continue to visit Abhaneri – one of India’s deepest and largest step wells. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

Early breakfast and then begin your sightseeing at Amber Fort, which was the ancient capital of the state. Ascend the Fort on elephant back or by jeep. Inside this amazing Fort visit Diwan-i Aam, Diwan-i Khas and Sheesh Mahal (Hall of Victory glittering with mirrors).  Afternoon tour of Jaipur – visit Jal Mahal (Water Palace), Maharaja’s City Palace and Jantar Mantar. Drive past Hawa Mahal and through the pink rose residential and business areas. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

After breakfast, transfer to Jaipur airport to board a direct flight to Guwahati. Later drive to Shillong. En-route stop to visit the scenic Umami Lake. On arrival in Shillong, check-in to your hotel and spend the evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Shillong.

After breakfast, get ready for your excursion to Mawlynong. Visit Jingmaham Living Root Bridge, walk around the charming village and stop at the beautiful waterfalls. Later proceed to Dawki. Enjoy the scenic beauty and take a boat ride on the crystal clear waters. Return to Shillong for a comfortable overnight stay.

After breakfast, begin your excursion to Cherrapunji – the wettest place on earth. Visit the spectacular Seven Sisters Falls, Mawsmai Cave and Thangkharang Park. Later, return to Shillong. En-route visit Elephanta Falls and the famous Shillong Peak. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Early breakfast and then depart by road to Kaziranga National Park, famous for its one horn Rhinos. On arrival check-in to your hotel and rest for a while. Later enjoy a jeep safari. Rest of the evening is free for your own activities. Overnight stay at the resort.

Get ready to board the morning jeep safari vehicle, searching for a family of Rhinos as well as spotting many wild animals, reptiles, and birds. After finishing AM safari return to the hotel, breakfast and free time for leisure, relax or enjoy activities. Afternoon jeep safari for the national park. Enjoy your evening at the resort. Overnight stay at the resort.

Early breakfast and then drive to Nimati Ghat (near Jorhat) to board the local ferry to Majuli, known as the cultural capital of Assam. Note: Cruise sailing is approx. 1 ½ hrs to Majuli. Majuli Island, with a population of 1.6 Lakhs, the majority being tribal, is endowed with rich heritage and has been the abode of the neo-vaishnavite culture. Explore in and around Majuli. Afternoon visit Satras, Missing tribal village, Mask making village and Pottery village. Proceed to Jorhat for a comfortable overnight stay.

After breakfast transfer to Ghat to catch your return ferry to Nimati Ghat. Arrive Nimati Ghat and straight drive to Sivasagar. On arrival check-in to your hotel and proceed to visit the Gurgaon Raj Palace, Rang Ghar – the royal observatory, Talatal Ghar, Shiva and Vishnu Temples, and Sivasagar Tank. Overnight stay in Sivasagar.

After breakfast drive to Dibrugarh, a Tea city of India. It owes its moniker to the fact that it serves as the gateway to Dibrugarh, Tinsukia, and Sivasagar, the three districts which produce almost 50% of Assam tea. On arrival check-in to your hotel and take some time to relax before visiting the Tea gardens & Planter’s Golf club. Overnight stay in Dibrugarh.

After breakfast transfer to Dibrugarh airport to board a direct flight to Delhi, from where you will connect to your international flight home.
