Day-1 (Arrival in Delhi).
On your arrival at Delhi International Airport you will be welcomed by your tour escort. You can find him easily as he will be there at the arrival lounge holding a placard of your name. After meet & greet transfer to your pre booked hotel. The rest of the day, if any, is at leisure to settle in, and recuperate from your international journey. Overnight stay in Delhi.
Day-2 (Delhi).
Early breakfast and begin your city tour of Old Delhi with the Jama Masjid (India’s largest mosque). Take a rickshaw ride and explore the amazing narrow lanes and bazaars, visit Chandni Chowk, stop off at Asia’s biggest Spice market, and drive past the Red Fort. Later visit Raj Ghat, the memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi. Take a drive past India Gate (War Memorial Arch), President’s House, Parliament House, and Government Secretariat Buildings. After lunch visit Bangla Sahib Gurdwara (Sikh Temple) and Mahatma Gandhi Museum. End your day with a visit to the Qutub Minar (tallest brick tower in the world). Overnight stay in Delhi.
Day-3 (Delhi to Srinagar).
Early breakfast and proceed to board the direct flight to Srinagar. Upon landing, transfer to your deluxe houseboat. Late afternoon take a Shikara ride on Dal Lake visiting floating flower and vegetable markets etc. Also witness walnut woodcarving and papier machie making demonstration. Overnight stay in deluxe houseboat, Srinagar.
Day-4 (Srinagar).
After breakfast enjoy a full day sightseeing tour of Srinagar city. Begin your tour with Shankaracharya Temple. This sacred site offers splendid views of the valley and the snow clad mountains of the Pir Panjal range. Visit Hazratbal Mosque and Khanqah of Shah Hamadan – one of the oldest Muslim Shrines in Kashmir. Later visit the famous Mughal gardens – Nishat Bagh (Garden of Pleasure), Shalimar Bagh and Chashme Shahi Garden. Overnight stay in deluxe houseboat, Srinagar.
Day-5 (Srinagar to Sonmarg to Srinagar).
After breakfast check-out from houseboat. Check-in to a hotel in Srinagar city, later in the morning drive for a full day excursion to Sonmarg. Sonamarg (Meadow of Gold) is a place of enthralling beauty, lies in Sindh Valley, streamed with flowers, surrounded by snow clad mountains. Visit Nichnai Pass and Nilagrad River. OPTIONAL – Enjoy horse / pony ride up to Thajiwas glacier – a wonderful place where nature blooms at its best and sledge riding on snow. Later in the evening drive back to Srinagar for a comfortable overnight stay.
Day-6 (Srinagar to Gulmarg).
After breakfast depart by road to Gulmarg. On arrival check-in to your hotel. Later proceed to your sightseeing tour of Gulmarg. Enjoy a ride on Gondola Lift, a cable car system, popular among tourists for the aerial breath-taking view it offers. Visit Khilanmarg, it remains carpeted with beautiful flowers in the spring and offers a spectacular view of the Great Himalayan range and the Kashmir Valley. Overnight stay in Gulmarg.
Day-7 (Gulmarg).
After breakfast continue your tour of Gulmarg. Visit Baba Reshi Shrine (Ziarat). This shrine was built amidst a luxuriant garden and is a major tourist attraction apart from the visits from its devotees. Remaining day at leisure for independent activities. Overnight stay in Gulmarg.
Day-8 (Gulmarg to Pahalgam).
Early breakfast and then depart by road to Pahalgam (Valley of Shepherds). On arrival check-in to your hotel and get ready for your sightseeing tour. Begin with a visit to Baisaran and admire the mesmerising views. The place also serves as a picnic and camp site for tourists. Next visit Aru Valley which is a small yet self-sufficient scenic village. The location of the village among the grasslands, make this place a tourist delight. It is reachable by walking along a mountain path. Later visit Hajan valley. Overnight stay in Pahalgam.
Day-9 (Pahalgam to Srinagar to Delhi).
After breakfast depart by road Srinagar. En-route visit at Saffron fields of Pampora, see the beautiful countryside, lots of rice fields and Awantipura ruins on the way. Later continue your drive through the pine forest, the confluence of the streams flowing from the river Lidder & Sheshnag Lake which are famous for their scenic beauty. Upon arrival in Srinagar, transfer to the airport for your flight to Delhi. Overnight stay in Delhi.
Day-10 (Departure from Delhi).
The morning is at leisure. Your escort and vehicle are at your disposal. Later, depending on the time of your international flight you are assisted with your transfer to the airport for your homebound journey.
