Day-1 (Arrival in Delhi).
On your arrival at Delhi International Airport you will be welcomed by your tour escort. You can find him easily as he will be there at the arrival lounge holding a placard of your name. After meet & greet transfer to your pre booked hotel. The rest of the day, if any, is at leisure to settle in, and recuperate from your international journey. Overnight stay in Delhi.
Day-2 (Delhi).
Early breakfast and begin your city tour of Old Delhi with the Jama Masjid (India’s largest mosque). Take a rickshaw ride and explore the amazing narrow lanes and bazaars, visit Chandni Chowk, stop off at Asia’s biggest Spice market, and drive past the Red Fort. Later visit Raj Ghat, the memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi. Take a drive past India Gate (War Memorial Arch), President’s House, Parliament House, and Government Secretariat Buildings. After lunch visit Bangla Sahib Gurdwara (Sikh Temple) and Mahatma Gandhi Museum. End your day with a visit to the Qutub Minar (tallest brick tower in the world). Overnight stay in Delhi.
Day-3 (Delhi to Leh).
After breakfast transfer to the airport where you will board a direct flight to Leh. Upon landing, transfer to your pre-booked hotel. Rest of the day free for Acclimatization with the Leh weather. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day-4 (Leh).
After breakfast begin your exciting city tour of Leh with the Hall of Fame Museum. Next stop is Gurdwara Patthar Sahib – Sikh temple built in the memory of Guru Nanak. Continue to Alchi Monastery (Buddhist Monastery) situated on the bank of River Indus. Here you may visit Sangam in Nimmu village and enjoy rafting on Zanskar river. Last stop is Magnetic Hill – this optical illusion is sure to intrigue! Return to your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.
Day-5 (Leh to Nubra Valley (via Khardung La Pass) )
Early breakfast then drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass. Nubra Valley is an austerely beautiful enclave cradled by rugged mountains, also known as the Valley of Flowers as per its Tibetan name Ldumra. On arrival at Khardung La Pass which act as a gateway to the Shyok and Nubra valleys, take a short break for coffee and snacks, and admire the mesmerising views. Continue your journey to Nubra. On arrival check-in to your hotel and take rest before your visit to Diskit – the headquarters of Nubra. Also visit the sacred Diskit Monastery, a 14th century Buddhist monastery, and Maitreya Buddha statue. Later in the evening spend some quality time at the White Sand Dunes and enjoy a Bactrian Double Humped Camel ride. Overnight stay in Nubra.
Day-6 (Nubra to Pangong Lake to Nubra)
After breakfast drive to your next exciting destination, Pangong Lake – a long, narrow, deep, endorheic (landlocked) lake situated at a height of more than 14,000 ft. With its breath taking surroundings be sure to click many stunning pictures. Witness the beautiful sunset on the bank of Pangong Lake before returning to your hotel. Overnight in Nubra.
Day-7 (Nubra to Leh via Chang La Pass)
Early breakfast and then drive back to Leh via Chang La Pass. En-route stop for refreshments at Chang La Pass. Here you can enjoy the beautiful background of mountains while sipping on your hot tea or coffee. Later continue your journey to Leh and visit the popular Rancho School, where students are involved in many innovations from an early age. This school became famous after the Bollywood movie, Three Idiots. On arrival check-in to your hotel and spend the evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 8 Leh
After breakfast visit Leh Palace and enjoy the spectacular panoramic view of the city. Spend some quality time at the Museum and become familiar with the history of the region. Afternoon explore the local handicraft market and try some local cuisine. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day-9 (Leh to Delhi and Departure).
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your direct flight to Delhi, from where you will connect to your international flight home.
