Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 :
Arrival in Delhi
- On arrival in Delhi, meet our representative who will help you take a transfer to the hotel.
- Check in to the hotel and take some rest.
- Have dinner and enjoy your overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2 :
Delhi Sightseeing
- After having your breakfast in the morning, leave for a full-day sightseeing tour of Delhi.
- Visit the famous attractions of the capital including Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat, Humayun's Tomb, Jantar Mantar, Qutab Minar, India Gate, President House and Parliament House.
- After exploring the place all day, return to the hotel and stay overnight.
Day 3 :
Delhi - Jaipur
- This morning, you take a transfer to your next destination, Jaipur which is around 263 km from Delhi.
- On reaching Jaipur, check-in at the hotel.
- After you freshen up, go for a sightseeing tour around Jaipur.
- Visit the beautiful attractions of the place including The City Palace, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar, Albert Hall, Vidhan Sabha and Birla Temple.
- After your sightseeing tour all day, return to the hotel and stay overnight.
Day 4 :
Jaipur Sightseeing
- After having your breakfast in the morning, leave for exploring the various colours of this beautiful city, Jaipur.
- You can begin with a visit to the Amber Fort where you will get to enjoy an elephant ride up to the Fort.
- Later, you can shop at the local market or spend the rest of the day at leisure.
- Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 5 :
Jaipur - Agra
- This morning, you head towards your next destination, Agra via Fatehpur Sikri. On reaching Fatehpur Sikri, which is around 200 km from Jaipur, experience the beauty of Mughal architecture which is spread all over the city.
- Do visit the tomb of Salim Chisti and the Buland Darwaza.
- Later, drive towards Agra.
- On reaching Agra, check in to the hotel and have a comfortable stay.
Day 6 :
Agra Sightseeing
- Enjoy this entire day with a city tour of Agra.
- Begin with a visit to the famous Taj Mahal.
- One of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Taj Mahal represents the greatest love story ever.
- After visiting the Taj Mahal, visit attractions like Agra Fort and Sikandra Fort.
- After sightseeing, take a transfer to the railway station and board your train to Varanasi.
- Have a comfortable journey overnight.
Day 7 :
Agra - Varanasi
- You will be reaching Varanasi, early in the morning.
- On reaching, check-in to the hotel.
- After taking some rest, visit Sarnath which is about 10 km from the holy city of Varanasi.
- It is the place where more than 2500 years ago Buddha delivered his first sermon.
- Later, drive back to Varanasi and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 8 :
Varanasi Sightseeing
- Also known as Kashi and Banaras, Varanasi is one of the holiest cities in the country.
- It is believed to be the centre of learning and civilization.
- So, you begin this day with a boat ride on the river Ganges.
- Enjoy the sunrise and later, you can spend some time at the bathing Ghats of this city.
- Do visit attractions such as Bharat Mata Temple, Banaras Hindu University and Kasi Vishwanath Temple.
- Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 9 :
Varanasi - Bodhgaya
- This morning, you take a transfer to Bodhgaya which is 247 km from Varanasi.
- On reaching Bodhgaya, check in at the hotel.
- Take some rest during the day and you can leave for attending evening prayer at Mahabodhi temple.
- Later, return to the hotel and have a comfortable stay at night.
Day 10 :
Bodhgaya Sightseeing
- Bodhgaya is counted as one of the four most important Buddhist pilgrimage sites.
- After having your breakfast, leave for a sightseeing trip around this beautiful place.
- Explore the beauty of Buddhist culture and lifestyle with a stroll around this place.
- Visit places like the Great Buddha Statue, Niranjana River and Sujata Temple.
- After your sightseeing tour, return to the hotel and stay overnight.
Day 11 :
Bodhgaya – Rajgir
- Leave for Rajgir this morning, after having your breakfast.
- Rajgir is 74 kms from Bodhgaya.
- Treat your eyes to the beauty of this valley town and its attractions like Vulture Hill, World Peace Stupa and Bamboo's Garden.
- After sightseeing around Rajgir, head towards, Nalanda which is 18 km from Rajgir.
- Here, visit the ruins of the world's oldest University.
- It is one of the oldest Universities in the World and an International Centre for Buddhist Studies.
- Later, drive towards Patna which is 76 km from Nalanda.
- On reaching, check in to the hotel and stay overnight.
Day 12 :
Patna - Kushinagar
- After having your breakfast, leave for Kushinagar which is approx 253 km from Patna.
- En-route visit Vaishali, the ancient city of Bihar and enjoy your lunch.
- On reaching Kushinagar, check in at the hotel.
- Freshen up and then leave for sightseeing at attractions like Mahaparinirwana Temple which is believed to be the place where Buddha took his last breath and Rambhar Stupa, the cremation site of lord Buddha and Japan Temple.
- Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 13 :
Kushinagar – Lumbini
- Have your breakfast and then leave for your next destination, Lumbini.
- Lumbini is 170 km from Kushinagar.
- While going to Lumbini (Nepal), complete all the formalities at India/Nepal border for Visa/Immigration.
- On reaching, check-in to the hotel.
- Lumbini is one place which demands a must-visit from all the devotees of Lord Buddha.
- Explore the place with a stroll and later return to the hotel.
- Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 14 :
Lumbini - Sravasti
- This morning, after breakfast, leave for Kapilvastu which is 10 km from Lumbini.
- Then, head towards Sravasti which is located at a distance of 150 km.
- Upon reaching, go sightseeing around Sah Mahet which is known as the Capital of the ancient kingdom of Kosala, Jetawana Gardens and Buddhist temples.
- After enjoying sightseeing, take a transfer to the Balarampur railway station which is 19 Km from Sravasti and board your train to Delhi.
- Overnight at train.
Day 15 :
Shravasti - Delhi
- Arrive in Delhi met with and transfer to Hotel. Rest of the morning leisure.
- Afternoon city tour of Old & New Delhi.
- Overnight stay.
Day 16 :
Delhi - Delhi Airport Transfer
- This is the last day of your tour.
- Take a transfer to the airport in the evening and carry on with your onward journey.
