Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 :
Arrival at Delhi
- Welcome with a Namaste!!!
- On arrival at Delhi airport our representative shall meet and greet you there.
- Later he shall escort you to you pre booked hotel and assist with check in formalities.
- Rest of the day is free at leisure and to explore the city on own.
- Overnight stay is at Delhi.
Day 2 :
Delhi
- Breakfast will be at the hotel.
- Start a full-day tour of Old and New Delhi.
- OLD DELHI - A sight-seeing tour of Old Delhi would entail visiting the Raj Ghat - the memorial site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated; Jama Masjid - the largest mosque in India and the Red Fort - once the most opulent fort and palace of the Moghul Empire.
- Enjoy the cycle rickshaw ride from Jama Masjid to Chandni Chowk.
- NEW DELHI - An extensive sight-seeing tour of New Delhi would include a visit to the Humayun's Tomb, the Qutub Minar, a drive along the ceremonial avenue - Rajpath, past the imposing India Gate, Parliament House, the President's Residence, Lotus Temple and would end with a drive through the Diplomatic Enclave.
- Overnight will be at Delhi.
Day 3 :
Delhi – Agra
- After morning breakfast in hotel, leave for Agra – The city was the capital of India during the reign of Mughal Emperor.
- Reach the city of Taj Mahal – one of the seven wonder of the world and you will be transferred to your reserved hotel. After wash and change, proceed for city tour visiting the majestic Taj Mahal – this marvel made up of white marble is a star attraction of our country and the main feature of the Taj is that its white marbles reflects the sun rays falling on it giving different view every time you visit.
- Your tour also includes visit to Agra fort.
- Inside the fort, you will see some wonderful buildings and lastly visit Itmad-Ud-Daulah also knows as Baby Taj.
- Built by Noor Jahan, wife of Mughal Emperor Jahangir in memory of her father.
- Spend your night in Agra.
Day 4 :
Agra – Jaipur
- Start third day of the tour with drive to Jaipur – Popularly known as the pink city it is the capital of Rajasthan state. En route visit Fatehpur Sikri - the deserted capital of Mughal Emperor Akbar and explore the beautiful marble architecture in it.
- Our representative will meet you at Jaipur hotel with warm welcome.
- After check into the hotel, evening indulge in some delicious Rajasthani dinner in any of the local restaurant in the city along with the Rajasthani folk dance and music and other entertaining programs.
- Stay overnight at Jaipur.
Day 5 :
Jaipur sightseeing
- After hearty breakfast in the hotel, enjoy excursion tour of Amber Fort –situated atop of Aravali hills in the outskirts of Jaipur.
- If you like to feel like the King, enjoy elephant ride to ascend the fort.
- Also visit Jaigarh Fort - The main attraction of the fort is world’s biggest canon which was used one in a life time.
- Come back to the city restaurant and have your lunch.
- Later enjoy tour of Jaipur – the city of beauty and perfection.
- Visit City Palace a complete blend of Rajput and Mughal architecture making it a worth visiting place,
- Hawa Mahal – 5 storied monument structured in semi-octagonal has 973 windows and we end the city tour with a visit to Jantar Mantar, an ancient observatory which is the largest preserved observatory built by Raja Jai Singh in 1728.
- Stay overnight in Jaipur.
Day 6 :
Jaipur–Pushkar(150kms/03hrs)
- Have a lavish breakfast in the hotel and then head to Pushkar.
- It is believed that Lord Brahma (The creator of the world) performed his Vedic yagna in Pushkar in search for his abode on earth.
- Pushkar is also world famous for its Pushkar fair held every year in the month of October.
- People from different parts of the country gather here to buy and sell cattle of different breeds.
- On arrival check into the hotel and rest for some time after that enjoy city tour of Pushkar which includes the visit to Brahma Temple – dedicated to Lord Brahma it is the only temple in the world, Pushkar lake – take a holy dip in Pushkar Lake and around the ghats, over 500 temples are built in varied architectural
- styles which is great to visit.
- Evening visit the Dargah of Khawaja Moinuddin Chisti at Ajmer and later drive back to Pushkar for an
- overnight stay.
- Head to Udaipur – the most romantic city of India it is a beautiful land around the blue lake. Udaipur served as the summer residence of the former rulers.
- On arrival check in at the hotel and in evening enjoy boat ride on the Lake Pichola. Overnight stay will be at Udaipur.
Day 8 :
Udaipur
- Morning after breakfast, move on for sightseeing tour of Udaipur visit Sahelion-Ki-Bari – The garden of the maidens built in 18th century.
- After that you will visit City Palace – The main part of the palace is converted into a museum which houses a collection of miniatures of Krishna Vilas, Lok Kala Mandir - This museum has a rich collection of folk dresses, ornaments, puppets, masks, dolls, folk musical instruments and paintings on display.
- Jagdish Temple – Located at a height of 150 m it is the largest and perhaps the most beautiful temple of Udaipur built in 1651 and lastly visit Fateh Sagar – an artificial lake.
- Spend overnight in Udaipur.
- Head to Jodhpur after lavish breakfast in the hotel. In afternoon you will reach Jodhpur – the erstwhile capital of Merwar.
- Spend rest of the time in comfort at hotel and later by evening visit UMAID BHAWAN PALACE museum.
- Evening is free for independent activities & overnight stay is at hotel.
Day 10 :
Jodhpur
- After breakfast, enjoy jeep safari in Bishnoi Village – one of its kind in India where people live vegetarian life and animals killing is stickly prohibited here.
- Have a glimpse into the rural life and life style of the people. Later enjoy local sightseeing tour of Jodhpur visit the splendid Mehrangarh Fort, luxurious Umaid Bhawan Palace the present residence of the king of Jodhpur, Jaswant Thada, and Clock Tower. Overnight stay will be at Jodhpur.
- Your next destination is Jaisalmer situated in the heart of the Thar Desert, popularly known as the Golden City.
- For years, Jaisalmer remained untouched and unexplored and today it is one of the most visited destinations in India.
- Evening is free to explore the city and make yourself comfortable in the calm atmosphere.
- Overnight stay will be at Heritage hotel in Jaisalmer.
Day 12 :
Jaisalmer Sightseeing
- After morning breakfast, proceed for sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer visiting Jaisalmer fort (Highlight of the tour) – a hill top fort is situated at a height of 80 meter it is the oldest living fort in India.
- There are numerous havelis scattered around Jaisalmer and some of the famous are 19th century Nathmal Ki Haveli, a truly magnificent Patwa Ki Haveli, a very distinctive private haveli the Salim Singh ki Haveli.
- Evening drive to Sam Sand Dunes and enjoy camel safari in the great India Thar desert during sunset with breathtaking views.
- Dinner and night stay at the SWISS TENT CAMP at Sam Sand Dunes.
Day 13 :
Jaisalmer to Bikaner
- Early morning after breakfast, drive to Bikaner – situated 320 kms from Jaisalmer.
- Reach Bikaner in the afternoon check in at the hotel and by early evening visit the spectacular Bikaner Palace & Junagarh Fort.
- Overnight stay will be at Bikaner.
Day 14 :
Bikaner – Mandawa (180 kms / 03 hrs)
- Morning after breakfast, visit Camel Breading farm and Karni Mata Temple also known as Rat Temple in Deshnok Village.
- And later continue tour journey to Mandawa in Shekhawati region it is popularly known as an “Open air art gallery” of Rajasthan due to the marvelously frescoed walls of the various haveli’s here.
- On arrival check into your hotel and evening wander through the lanes of Mandawa exploring the numerous
- art work present here.
- Overnight stay is in a heritage hotel at Mandawa.
Day 15 :
Bikaner – Mandawa (180 kms / 03 hrs)
- Breakfast in the hotel and then proceed for sightseeing tour of Mandawa.
- Visit some of the notable painted haveli’s with frescoes & murals in Mandawa such as Chokhani Saraf & Ladia Haveli’s and many more.
- By afternoon drive towards Delhi, transfer to airport for onward Journey .
