Detailed Itinerary
- On arrival at Kushok Bakula airport in Leh (situated at a height of 3,500 meters), you will be transferred to your hotel.
- Leh Flight is considered one of the most sensational flights in the world.
- During the day, acclimatize yourself with the weather and high pressure of Ladakh. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.
- After a delicious breakfast at hotel visit around Leh City.
- Sankar Gompa is located approximately 3 km from Leh city. Sankar Gompa is well known for its excellent styles, traditional architectural style.
- Sankar Gompa has figure of Avalokitesvara having 1,000 heads and arms.
- Shanti Stupa is situated on a hilltop in Chanspa built in 1991 by Japanese Buddhist Bhikshu Gyomyo Nakamura. Shanti stupa provides beautiful and panoramic view of the surrounding landscape.
- Leh Palace is a former royal palace of the Leh Kingdom. Located in Leh city. It is one tourist attraction of Leh city. The 17th century Palace provides spectacular views of Stok Kangri.
- Tsomo Gompa (Namgyal Tsemo Gompa) : The fort is perched on a hilltop overlooking Leh city.
- Situated on a mountain top behind the Leh palace, the monastery offers panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, the gently flowing Indus River and the snowcapped peaks of Zanskar range.
- Afternoon visit Stok Palace Museum, where the present day royal family resides.
- Stok Palace and museum was built in the year 1825, by King Tespal Tondup Namgyal.
- At present the place has a collection of royal dresses and crown etc. which is open for travelers. Drive back to Leh.

- Hemis Monastery, the biggest monastery of Ladakh, situated on a green hill and surrounded by mountains.

- Hemis monastery host an annual festival which is also a major tourist attraction.

Day 4 :
Leh – Likir – Alchi/Ule
- After delicious breakfast at the hotel and get ready.
- The excitement of the day will begin with Hall of fame (A Museum built by Indian Army) visit Gurdwara Pathar Sahib which was built in 1517 in the memory of Guru Nanak.
- The next is visit to the famous Magnetic Hill. Placed on Leh-Kargil-Srinagar Highway, at an altitude of 11,000 feet above the sea level, it is also known
- as Gravity hill.
- You will be visiting Sangam Point or the confluence point of Zanskar and Indus rivers.
- Continue drive to Alchi, one of the oldest monasteries and have scriptures dated as old as 10th century.
- The village Alchi differentiates itself from other villages of Ladakh by being so lush green.

Day 5 :
Ule/Alchi – Rizong – Lamayuru
- After delicious breakfast at the hotel visit Rizong Monastery after then drive to Lamayuru which is 55 kms from Alchi. The day is going to be full of action.
- Your first visit is to region with lunar landscapes- an area that is similar to the land condition of Moon.
- After this, you visit Lamayuru Monastery- one of the largest and oldest monasteries in Ladakh, it houses wall paintings, thangkas, murals, old scriptures and various statues of different forms of Buddha as well as other deities.

Day 6 :
Lamayuru – Themisgam – Leh
- After delicious breakfast at the hotel drive to Themisgam, a rural hamlet in remote Himalayas off Srinagar – Leh route between Lamayuru and Alchiand presents travelers an insight into Ladakh countryside and village life.Themisgam is popular for trekking in the area and also recommended for experiential travelers.King Gragspa Bum younger brother of Gragspa Bum- Lde, who was ruling over Sham, built the Themisgam Palace.
- A fortress wall encircles the Palace.
- Drive back to Leh.

- After delicious breakfast at the hotel drive to Nubra Valley (125 kms) via Khardungla Pass which is situated at a height of 18360 ft and is considered as the highest motorable pass of the world.

- Check in at your camp/Hotel. Drive to Hunder Sand Dunes to enjoy Camel Safari (OPTIONAL) on the shabby double -humped Bactrian camels.

- This Statue has become one of the prime attractions for tourists and is deeply appreciated for its architecture.
- Facing the Shyok River, the statue sits tall with a height of 32 meters.
- Also visit beautiful Yarabtso Lake, also referred to as the hidden lake.
- This crystal clear lake is bounded by barren yet beautiful surroundings.
- Drive towards Panamik Hot Springs which are rich in Sulphur contents & believed to have medicinal benefits.
- Later return to Sumoor with lovely homes and tree-lined avenues.
- The name Sumoor means ‘ three rivers ‘ and probably refers to the nearby confluence of the Shyok and Nubra.
- The village is famous for the Samstangling Gompa, the largest monastery of Nubra, which houses about 100 monks.
- It was founded in 1800 and the main building houses several temples.

Day 9 :
Nubra Valley – Leh

- Waking up early in the morning, enjoy delicious breakfast and get to say bye to the enchanting environs of Ladakh.
- Pack your bags and weave all the pleasant memories of your amazing Ladakh tour, as you will be dropped at the Leh Airport for your onward journey.
